Kudos

We love feed-back. Especially this kind :)

Kudos for Ancroft Place

Dear Stacey,
I don't know how you managed to pull it altogether it was brilliant and everything looks great.

This is just a note to say thank you for a fabulous job and I know you must be totally exhausted but you should feel very proud of a job fantastically well done.

Hi Stacey,
Hope you have been recovering this weekend. Wanted to let you know how great the room looked finished. All your material looked wonderful and even better (I thought) when all the furniture went in on Friday morning.

We set the chairs and tables in by 11:30 and at 11:31 they were filled with buyers writing offers!

It has been a pleasure working with you as usual - hope it happens again soon.

Stacey,
I checked out your new branding and your work on Ancroft. I think it is sensational!

Latest Project: Ancroft Place

I just finished updating my Facebook page with all the news about Ancroft Place, my most recent work. It was 10 weeks wherein I branded, designed and booked and monitored advertising, created all the marketing collateral, designed sales center displays, developed and maintained the web-site, the database and communications tools to a 500-plus list of registrants, and more. It was break-neck speeds, adrenaline rush all the way... and my knees are still weak from the fact that it all came together beautifully and then was a huge success (95% sold just after the Advance Preview Event!).

Honestly, I would do it all over again. It was just so much fun. OK, maybe not the 10 week part!

What's with the new name?

Perhaps you found your way here via my twitter, facebook, or web site. Or maybe you just stumbled upon it. Whatever the case may be, welcome to these lines... please get comfortable. Now for proper introductions:

My name is Stacey Funk. Some of my past colleagues, clients and friends may know my small freelance sideline business I called Funkmediaworks. I have recently changed my name to FunktionalM2 (that's M-squared for Marketing & Media) because I feel it better encompasses who I am and what I do.

So many times I have found myself describing the product and services I provide as "functional" - delivering solutions for marketing needs that are customized to my client's business. I knew I was getting a name out there for basically designing web-sites and I have so much more to offer... so I started to brainstorm. I know, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out from there. It's because it just made sense to me.

That's the long and short of it...

I have to say the logo took much more time and came about after many rounds of revisions. The first one looked completely different! Strange, isn't it? That such a simple identity would take that long. But it was worth it. I like it and I feel it works.

I'm still working on all the bits and pieces such as my web-site. My clients come first. But I will be throwing some kind of launch party when it is finally done! It has been a long, labour of love!

I am truly excited about FunktionalM2!
